It’s not Obama…

Obama is not a foreign born, brown skinned, anti-war socialist that gives away healthcare.  You’re thinking of Jesus.

Rolling Stone magazine Found This ‘Too Controversial’

When comedian Ricky Gervais had the chance to be on the cover of a recent issue of Rolling Stone, he submitted a picture of himself as a sad clown with a gun in his mouth… and he considered submitting this alternative (just in case a suicidal clown was too offensive):   For some reason, the editors didn’t like [...]

Federal appeals court: Saying “Jesus” during public prayer is unconstitutional

As in most counties in America, the Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County, North Carolina, begins its public meetings with an invocation. These prayers are given by local religious leaders on a first-come, first-serve basis. Given that 95 percent of local religious houses identify as Christian, it’s not surprising that many of the invocations include [...]

Christians express their love to a Muslim praying at the White House

A muslim man prays on the street. Christian idiots insult him, throw crucifices at him and tells him to go back to his country. Jesus would have been very proud. Feel the Christian love:

Jesus, Madman or Something Worse

Madman or Something Worse is a short film that critically examines the ethics of Jesus of Nazareth. Produced by Peter Brietbart, with animations by Many Artists Who Do One Thing. Part 1 of 2 Jesus of Nazareth was an awful moral philosopher. He compares badly to such modern greats such as Mill, Rawls or Ross [...]

Holy kudzu! Vine believed to resemble Jesus

The Gospel of John quotes Jesus as saying “I am the true vine,” and some folks in eastern North Carolina think they may have witnessed a literal demonstration. A utility pole about a mile south of Kinston has attracted attention in the last week or so from people who say the kudzu clinging to it [...]

Texas Christians Protest ‘Blasphemous’ Play Portraying Jesus as Gay

In Texas, Christians gathered around the San Pedro Playhouse to “prayerfully protest” the play, “Corpus Christi,” which they say is blasphemous because it portrays Jesus and his disciples as gay. For months, religious leaders have asked the San Pedro Playhouse to cancel the production. “We feel that this play is blasphemous, it’s an affront to [...]

    Opportunity's Selfie

NASA's Mars Rover Opportunity catches its own late-afternoon shadow in this dramatically lit view eastward across Endeavour Crater on Mars. The rover used the panoramic camera (Pancam) between about 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. local Mars time to record images taken through different filters and combined into this mosaic view. Most of the component images were recorded during the 2,888th Martian day, or sol, of Opportunity's work on Mars (March 9, 2012). At that time, Opportunity was spending low-solar-energy weeks of the Martian winter at the Greeley Haven outcrop on the Cape York segment of Endeavour's western rim. In order to give the mosaic a rectangular aspect, some small parts of the edges of the mosaic and sky were filled in with parts of an image acquired earlier as part of a 360-degree panorama from the same location. Opportunity has been studying the western rim of Endeavour Crater since arriving there in August 2011. This crater spans 14 miles (22 kilometers) in diameter, or about the same area as the city of Seattle. This is more than 20 times wider than Victoria Crater, the largest impact crater that Opportunity had previously examined. The interior basin of Endeavour is in the upper half of this view. The mosaic combines about a dozen images taken through Pancam filters centered on wavelengths of 753 nanometers (near infrared), 535 nanometers (green) and 432 nanometers (violet). The view is presented in false color to make some differences between materials easier to see, such as the dark sandy ripples and dunes on the crater's distant floor.
