There is a huge shift from liberal church ideologies. Many will turn Atheist, others will just turn away from religion and just become “believers”. The most heinous will become evangelical and deny the facts around them that explain the world around us.

The church over the eons has survived due to mostly killing off the opposition, or the threat there of.

Today we still find that happening in 3rd world countries however the church has realized that it cant promote these things in an outwardly fashion. It would be a declaration of war and they would be destroyed.

The church actually teaches that a lot of what the bible has in it is hogwash, just stories, but even after a cath o lick has been taught this  they just forget it and believe the voodoo nature of the bible and whats to become of them after they die.
