UK Muslims Beat up Teacher for Teaching Muslim Girls Other Religions
Four UK Muslims identified as Simon Alam, 19, Azad Hussein, 27, Sheikh Rashid, 21, and Akmol Hussain are facing trial in the UK for beating up Gary Smith,37, head or religious studies at Central Foundation School for Girls in Bow, East London.
Gary Smith’s offense, according to the The Telegraph, was that he was “mocking” Islam by teaching Muslim girls in school religions besides Islam, and thus spreading doubts among the girls. The four Muslims who were said to have been seeking opportunity to attack the teacher for some time, finally got an opportunity on July 12, 2010, and brutally attacked him, slashing him from the corner of his mouth to his left ear and leaving him with a fractured skull, brain hemorrhage, short and long term memory loss.
A bug retrieved from the car of the gang of four recorded them discussing the plot. Leader of the gang, Hussein, was recorded saying, “This is the dog we want to hit, to strike, to kill.” He was also recorded saying, “He is mocking Islam and he’s putting doubts in people’s minds. How can somebody take a job to teach Islam when they are not even Muslim.” The recording device also caught the gang praising Allah as they drove away from the scene of their crime.
Gary Smith, who had three operations to repair his face and is now recovering from the trauma has said he would return to teaching. His distraught mother, Heather Smith, who was at his bedside while he was in hospital said, “His injuries were so bad I didn’t recognize him.”
JihadWatch.org commented ironically that, Islamic law places a death penalty on any non-Muslim for teaching Muslims any religion besides Islam, thus, according to the standards of Islamic law, the boys were “moderates” for merely beating up the teacher and not killing him!
