Cindy Jacobs Unveils Plan to Palin’s Wasilla Church that Army of Prayer Intercessors Will Shift 2012 Elections
Right Wing Watch is reporting that Christian dominionist, “apostle” and “prophet” Cindy Jacobs made an appearance at Sarah Palin’s church, the Wasilla Assembly of God, to unveil a prophetic vision about the 2012 elections in America’s “Christian nation.”
Apparently referring to her Root 52 intercessory prayer warriors, Jacobs declared,
And no one can say this is not a Christian nation. Every single state constitution is dedicated to God and there was no doubt that God was Jesus.
And so we went to reestablish roots with God — covenantal roots with God and with Israel and all 50 states. And we fasted and prayed and let me tell you, it was just amazing how it coalesced intercession. Incredible stories. You know, we can just tell you story after story of signs and wonders and the glory of God coming and, you know what He did during this year and we believe it affected the elections. So anyway, but we did that and this year our project is to raise 10,000 intercessors per state. Chuck Pierce prophesied we should do that and we believe the prophets. And so by the end of this year we hope to have 500,000 intercessors mobilized to pray for the nation for the 2012 elections to shift this nation to righteousness and justice.
Jacobs rose to evangelical power after she was allegedly visited by an angel when she was suffering from depression. She has claimed to exorcise demons of homosexuality, anointed the future president of the United States and preached that Christians should buy up all diamond mines and oil wells (same link). Earlier this year, she suggested that the massive bird and fish deaths in Arkansas were due to gay rights and that the murky, green camera mirage of a horseman riding through the riots in Cairo could be a supernatural sign of the 4th Horseman of the Apocalypse. Generals International, spearheaded by Jacobs, the apostle and prophet, is a featured member of Awakening 2011, an event scheduled for May in which Republican congress members and candidates will be mingling with members of the religious right to empower a new “revolution” in America.
