US Government votes to stifle free speech at the United Nations

What can I say, but what have we the people allowed our government to do.

The Patriot Act is nothing compared to what this could bring on.

UN1Here’s the deal, The UN Human Rights Council (you know, those guys that have been passing resolutions about how religion is supposed to be protected from any type of critique ) has passed YET ANOTHER resolution condemning the so called “stereotyping of religion”.  Could this be more of a slap in the face of freedom of expression ? This was sponsored by the United States and co sponsored by Egypt. You know Egypt, the guys that wont let proper archeology preformed in Pyramid complexes, oh and violate FREE SPEECH like raisins in raisin bran.

Now Ive been looking for something negative about the new US administration, and this seems to be it. Is the US actually tearingBoR1going against what our Forefathers demanded of their new nation ? Does this act violate what this country was founded on ? Religious tolerance doesnt mean to stifle those that have a criticism about those religions, but to expose the true nature of the acts of what the religion is and how the government acts upon it. However its said that what this act is supposedly geared to do is to get Egypt back to engaging on issues in the U.N.

Ok, now, whats the bigger picture. islam is once again trying to force people to respect its religion with rhetoric that allows for every other religion or belief .

Will the christian blasphemy laws being instituted all over the EU stand ? Is there a point in which these people become aware that their bible goes against mankind itself. If I stand on a corner and yell passages from deut and lev, and call for the deaths of people, does that establish any limits of this law, for if you dont do these acts, then you are commiting blasphemy according to the bible.

SO, if any muslims calls out against any of the other gods, its in violation of this, if islam says that unbelievers should be silenced then they are in violation of this.
SO my question is now, can this violation of human rights actually work for human rights ? Here’s a couple links to read for yourself, and then make a comment below.

U.S. opposes bid to bar religious defamation

The Obama administration on Monday came out strongly against efforts by Islamic nations to bar the defamation of religions, saying the moves would restrict free speech.

“Some claim that the best way to protect the freedom of religion is to implement so-called anti-defamation policies that would restrict freedom of expression and the freedom of religion,” Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton told reporters. “I strongly disagree.”

Composite of a Series of Images Taken From Space Aboard the Station

This is a composite of a series of images photographed from a mounted camera on the Earth-orbiting International Space Station, from approximately 240 miles above Earth. Space station hardware in the foreground includes the Mini-Research Module (MRM1, center) and a Russian Progress vehicle docked to the Pirs Docking Compartment (right). Expedition 31 Flight Engineer Don Pettit said of the photographic techniques used to achieve the images: "My star trail images are made by taking a time exposure of about 10 to 15 minutes. However, with modern digital cameras, 30 seconds is about the longest exposure possible, due to electronic detector noise effectively snowing out the image. To achieve the longer exposures I do what many amateur astronomers do. I take multiple 30-second exposures, then 'stack' them using imaging software, thus producing the longer exposure." A total of 47 images photographed by the astronaut-monitored stationary camera were combined to create this composite. Image Credit: NASA
